Women's Tennis' Swenson Selected as UAA Athlete of the Week

New York University freshman Britt Swenson was selected as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Swenson enjoyed a stellar collegiate debut at The College of New Jersey Lions' Invitational, accounting for three of the Violets' five singles victories and assisting in one of their two doubles wins. She captured three "D" flight singles matches and teaming with junior Meggie Smith for a doubles triumph.

NYU's women's tennis teams returns to action Saturday, September 16, when it travels to Vassar College for a noon match.
